Lisa HensleySenior Vice President, Single Family Programs

    Ms. Hensley joined the District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency in April 2015. She serves as the Senior Vice President of Single Family Programs. Ms. Hensley is responsible for implementing programs that promote affordable homeownership throughout the District of Columbia and growing the Agency’s market share through the DC Open Doors and Mortgage Credit Certificate Programs. In addition, her staff manages the federally funded HomeSaver Program, a foreclosure prevention and tax lien extinguishment program. In 2016, DCHFA became the co-administrator of the DC Department of Housing and Community Development’s Home Purchase Assistance Program (HPAP) which is operated by the Single Family Programs staff. Ms. Hensley’s primary duties encompass building and maintaining lender and realtor relationships while proactively working to ensure the Agency’s programs and services are marketed throughout the District of Columbia.

    Ms. Hensley has over 25 years of mortgage finance experience including mortgage loan origination, single family servicing and banking & regulatory policies. She has worked as an Assistant Vice President and Mortgage Consultant at several banks, including M&T and most recently FitzGerald Financial Group, a division of Monarch Bank.

    Ms. Hensley has successfully interfaced with mortgage industry professionals to cultivate business relationships and expand lending opportunities. She demonstrated her ability to successfully close loans, by amassing an annual volume up to $33 million. In addition, Ms. Hensley has received various professional awards, including numerous Chairman’s Club Member Awards, President’s Club Member Awards and Exceptional Customer Service Ratings of 100%.
